What is a family massage?
+ / -
A family massage is a type of massage that can be enjoyed by multiple family members at the same time. It can be a great way to bond with your loved ones and promote relaxation and well-being. Family massages are usually performed in the comfort of your own home, with therapists coming to you.
Is a family massage suitable for all ages?
+ / -
Family massages can be enjoyed by people of all ages, as long as they are comfortable with the idea of being massaged. It is important to discuss any health conditions or concerns with the therapist before the session, to ensure that the massage is safe and appropriate for everyone involved.
What should I expect during a family massage?
+ / -
During a family massage, the therapist will use a variety of techniques to promote relaxation and well-being. The massage may last for 60-90 minutes, depending on the client's needs. The therapist will make sure that everyone is comfortable and enjoying the experience.
How often should we schedule a family massage?
+ / -
The frequency of family massages will depend on your family's needs and preferences. Some families may benefit from regular massages, while others may only schedule them occasionally. It's always best to consult with the therapist for recommendations on what's best for your family. It's also important to note that massages are not a substitute for medical treatment, if you have any health concern please consult with your doctor.

The Cupping Massage increases circulation and encourages tissues to release toxins. Cupping has been used to treat a wide variety of conditions. It may be particularly effective at easing conditions that create muscle aches and pains. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.
The Holistic Massage treats the body as a single entity, affecting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being. The treatment focuses on tense muscles and supports all aspects of the stressed body. The holistic massage may include massage techniques stemming from other relaxation modalities, such as the Swedish massage, percussive techniques, or passive joint mobilization.

Why enjoy a moment of absolute relaxation and peace by yourself, when you can share it with a loved one? Two certified experienced Massage Therapists will provide you and your friend or family member with a simultaneous and harmonious Massage Experience. It's also a great way to introduce a massage novice who is nervous about being rubbed down by a stranger. If you both want to get different things out of it, that's fine too. During a couple's session, both of you can receive treatments that address your specific needs as with a singles massage, so don't fear that you'll get a one-size-fits-all deal.
A typical massage starts with a brief intake, during which you'll be asked about any aches or pains you may have, the pressure you have in mind and any body parts that need extra TLC. Then it's time to disrobe. Most massage tables come with a hole for your face, so you can focus on full relaxation. The used essential oils have great nourishing and activating ingredients for the skin and a massage typically lasts 30, 60, 90 or even 120 minutes. Listen to the calm music playing in the background and let your massage therapist know if the pressure is too soft (or too strong, for that matter!). Are you in a hurry or would you like to give special attention to a specific body area? Most massage salons also offer partial massages. These are area-specific massages such as a arm massages, foot massages or face massages which will have you feeling great in no time again!
Deep tissue is a type of massage therapy that is used to treat chronic tension and injuries from overuse, such as tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome. Whilst some of the strokes are the same as in classic (Swedish) massage, the pace tends to be slower and pressure is applied more strongly, concentrated on problem areas. Practitioners may use their forearms, elbows, fingertips and knuckles as well as their hands in order to break up adhesions. These bands of rigid tissue can cause pain and inflammation, and restrict movement and circulation in muscle tissue. You might have a stiff neck and upper back, lower back pain, tight legs or sore shoulders. Deep tissue massage works to realign the different layers of tissue, treating the tendons, ligaments and fascia (the protective layer of tissues which surrounds the bones, joints and muscles) as well as the muscles to release tension and provide pain relief.
The massage technique is quite similar to a classic, Swedish massage: slow strokes are combined with pressure techniques are applied on the arms, back, leg and foot area. What's more? Muscles are warmed up and underlying muscle adhesions are reduced with this therapeutic massage. Muscle adhesions occur when cell walls are hardly able to take up nutrients. Massaging the connective tissue increases blood circulation. This firm massage is great for anyone who enjoys a strong massage as it's an invigorating massage for both body and mind. But there's more! With a connective tissue massage the cells of connective (which include fibroblasts) are stimulated to renew. The production of collagen and elastin is promoted - which are all responsible for the tightness, flexibility and youthfulness of your skin. So a connective tissue massage is also perfectly suitable for anyone who wants to get rid of cellulite on the leg area or who would like to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Are you tired of feeling sore and tense all the time? It might be time to try a connective tissue massage!
Connective tissue massages are a type of massage there...
